So… I spent most of this last week in Platinum Version catching the three legendary Dragons Dialga, Palkia and Giratina, and came to the conclusion that the Dialga should learn Outrage before I migrate it. As it turns out, even though I beat the Elite Four and got the Dialga, I need to complete the Sinnoh Pokedex to access the move tutor for Outrage. Sigh. These Legendary Pixies are the worst of the lot of them. Sure, Azelf and Uxie don’t do much except sit in their caves, apparently waiting for foolish trainers to wander in to their doom, but Mesprit… is something else entirely. Sure, I have it’s dex info, so I can just go on my way, but catching it is going to be hardcore difficult. For those of you who are not aware, Mesprit is a roaming legendary. Its location changes depending on what instance, whether it be city or route, that you are currently in. It also changes instances if you Fly. Which makes it nigh-impossible to catch. Much less soft-reset catch for an ideal Mesprit. I’m going to have to channel all of my willpower and luck and rage into that cart in order to get a good roll off of it when I catch it. Correction. If I catch it. See, this is why it pays to prepare and keep some Pokemon in your versions. I don’t have a Mean Looker who is fast enough to cast it before Mesprit flees, which makes that part of trying to catch it even more difficult. It’s like a friend told me, you can only catch so many legendaries before you get mad. Anyway, rant over, back to soft-resetting for Azelf.
