Sorry about the absence of posts, dear readers. As it turns out, tooth pain and a bite that doesn’t properly align between one’s jaws can cause major problems and headaches and loss of the ability to safely eat solid food, so I’ve been a tad distracted lately. Especially with the start of NaNoWriMo 2011. But I have news! I found a Sableye a good friend traded to me and my Dreamworld Banette, and I think I want to breed a few of those up to see how they work! I’ve also been looking into the Pokemon Gastrodon. Yes, that one. I know it didn’t look like much to me at first, and maybe I’m the only one who ever thought that, but after looking it over some, it does look like it might be a worthwhile Pokemon to breed up. Storm Drain and immunity to Electric attacks makes for a pretty potent wall to common types, and its special defense prowess is astonishingly good, particularly with the move Mirror Coat, which I have confirmed that it can still learn as an Egg move! There’s really only one more decision to make before I start breeding it, though… blue or pink.
Anyway, I’m probably going to spend this weekend watching “Inception”, writing for NaNoWriMo, and, of course, breeding up some Pokemon. My breeding has definitely thinned down with my Legendaries expeditions. Speaking of which, I’ve decided to do a playthrough of HeartGold, which I had about… 3 hours on. SoulSilver was my baby. But yes, I’m doing the playthough because of Lugia. My poor Lugia I caught in SS a year or so ago was… disappointing, to say the least. But I have a do-over coming my way via HeartGold! And I can catch the Kyogre there, as well as move the Groudon from SS over to get a second Rayquaza. Good thing I kept Suicune in 4th Gen. This might get a little ugly before it’s all over.
